Well one thing I know about Kodiak's from a GB of 15x10s for the E30 that was last year is the quality control was piss poor. The center hub is undersized, every time he installs/uninstalls the wheels it was requiring a mallet, plus I know he had issues with getting delivery.
Obviously tho you don't have a lot of choices if you want a 3pcs wheel in 4x100 other then custom made. I still think if I every dropped from the 18x10 combo I'd get Diamond Racing Wheels in the extra lightweight steel. I think it was going to be <5# per wheel difference.
As for tirewear I actually pushed 150 runs out of my last set, died from heatcycles not wear. It started just requiring Formula V treatment to get 3 good runs before it would die again. BTW, the Formula V stuff really does work, kinda smelly to work with, but takes dead tires and does give them new life. Using it on my new set, going to see how much longer the useful life is on my V710s.
