I really don't think tearing down and rebuilding a LSD would be tough at all. And there are parts available to do some mods while your in there, most importantly changing the ramp angles.......Fuck welding the diff.

Because welded diffs are retarded. They promote understeer, which is the opposite of drifting. A limited slip differential will allow the car to initiate a turn and then apply power to both wheels when you add throttle, which if you know what you're doing certainly sounds like a drift to me...

you could check out the badlands if you are in Purdue. Other than that there is turtle ridge on drummond island mi, which is a LONG way from you but I'm kinda fond of northern MI

Where the real truck challenge was hosted. They are the guys who used to build the Sniper

Ah good deal. The FJ40s do like to slurp down the liquid gold, so, the closer the better for him, ha. :)

BTW, FJ40, you coming back to Portland after Purdue?

Since this thread is gay I don't mind taking it offtopic/

I used to have a 70 FJ40 that was stripped to the frame, along with a pile of parts, from a disk brake 2J era cruiser. Lost interest time/money and sold it all for a song.....since I've had a bunch of others trucks, K5's, Sammis etc.
