Tell him to trade in his 911 boatanchor S for a 996 GT3 or 997 GT3. If he gets either car, make sure he gets PCCB. Either car would be surely be loads more fun that the hippopotamus GT-R.

I did a search and found a huge nissan forum with a really long thread to my brother. He was going to trade in his 911 C4S for a GTR. That sucks though because I think he still wants it. I guess I will just refrain from launching it =/.. more then once lol.

    I'd take a tt 3rd gen rx-7
BUT I wouldn't take a NSX. I would take an R34 skyline though. an r32 even. fuck it give me an r33 also. AND if the evo is a must it would be gen 1-5. after 5 they got ugly.

Eh, everyone and their dog has owned, modified, and R3ved an Evo. Give me a first generation RX or a GC 2.5RS instead.

GT-R is a wee, teeny bit different than a hopped-up Sentra. Bash the warranty department all you want (and I don't blame you,) but the car is pretty serious from everything I have heard/read/seen about it. I loathe Japanese cars as well, but any of the Skyline series would probably take precedence over my lowly E30.

Quite honestly, when it come to Jap market, Evo and Sti are still the best cars they have to offer, GTR is too prissy to be called a sports car.

I've seen a few Porsche gt3's and I'd take one of those over a GTR any day of the week. If for nothing else than aesthitics. The GTR isn't exactly a pretty car by any means. The R32 GT-R's however... I would trade my e30 for one of those. But I wouldn't trade my e30 for a gt3.

Eh, I should have phrased it differently I guess. As much as I love E30's, I would find it difficult to turn down some ~500 bhp Japanese supercar. If it were an E30 with a 5-lug swap, M-System I's, and an S38, the GTR wouldn't even be in the equation.
