      To build on my original question...

      What about the shift lever? Which OE lever would be a good starting point?

      I will be using the Jaffster knob and would like to stick to OE levers for now.

      Z3 1.9?
      Z3 3.0?
      Z3 M Coupe?
      X5 3.0?
      etc
      89 325is track project / 05 x5 / 99 M3

        i have the e36 m3 shifter and happy with it. there is a thread somewhere on here comparing the various shifters..
