Considering getting these in 225/50/15 for mixed autox/summer driving. I know they are soft and wont last super long, but does anyone have experience with these tires? My only other options that I have found thus far are the Fuzion ZRi an the yoko S.Drive. They will be mounted on my 15x7 Konigs.

I have had them for a while on my turbo car (225/45 r16). I have been happy thus far. Great performance for the dollar and don't hydroplane in the rain due to decent tread pattern. I need more than 225s tho... but when they were mounted on my eta they were perfect.:: PNW Crew ::

they have a lot of void area, less straight line traction and slightly less cornering than comparable tires. personally I would look for something else but they are a pretty good tire for the price.Comment

I ran them for about 10 track days. I loved them, they could be a little squirly but not as bad as most everything else out there. They are in the top ranks for a street performance tire, and even more so in the budget catagory.
They wear surprisingly well. I had a lot of tire left before I sold them off as used to go to r-comps.
I'd recommend them for sure if the dunlop star spec z1 is not available in that size.Comment

I looked for the Star Spec and the RE01r that my dad has on the M5 and it is unavailiable, so this is really my only choice. Sounds like a good tire though, so I'll probly go for it.Comment

I have them on the front (still waiting to finish off the crap ass ES100's on the rear). Pretty good time, especially for the money. I like it more than the azenis, and for the 225/15 size is probably the best street tire.Comment

definitely better than the other two tires in your op.
however, they are lagging in the auto-x street tire category. they were the budget pick 3 years ago, now they've been lapped by the dunlops and stones. however, they have the best size choice by far, especially for the e30.
even tho i really wanted to run 225's on 15", im gonna opt for the khumo XS in 205.90 E30 325iComment

Well, if I could find cheap rims in a larger size I would go with that, but cheap rims in et20 offset are a bit tough to find in my lacking budget.
AlarmedBread-I have an M42, so I know what you mean by massive numbers... Low power plus the LSD plus suspension means that I really don't have an issue with oversteer if I am being anything close to smooth.Comment
