It is indeed a 2002 trunk lid on my... 2002 racecar.

Since yesterday, I have painted the upper portion of the cage so that we can lift it back up and start welding the rest.

You didn't do this part outside in the snow? Your last update made you seem so much more hardcore than the rest of us.

I indeed worked outside for two days at around 0° Farenheit around Christmas, and that made me reevaluate my goal to be a "real" man.

There will be around 50 hours x 2 guys on that cage, and honestly, it feels better working 50 hours indoor
