I have run HT-10's right out of the bow with no bedding plenty of times. Sometimes right before a race I've put new pads on and haven't even ran them up and down the paddock. It is however recommended to bed them in properly, I'm just letting you know its not the end of the world if you don't do it.

Providing that you aren't switching between pad types, bedding in a set of pads isn't strictly necessary. Bedding is more about laying down a layer of pad material on the rotors. If you are switching between compatible pads the layer of pad material will be compatible. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Very often, when installing new pads on used rotors, their will be a "matching period" as the rotors may have a wear pattern that consists of peaks and valleys (scores), while the new pad are dead flat. For both surfaces to adjust to each other, it can be a few laps, a whole session, and even more depending on how much the discs are scored. Except for that, as long as the owner doesn't mash hard the brakes on a fresh rotors, it's okay. Not breaking-in new rotors, and exposing virgin steel to a high heat stress right off the box can and will warp them.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
