Breaking up the FS forum would make it a pain to check. Way too much clicking.

Actually, granulating it would make searching for particular things easier. It's a lot simpler to find parts when the search result set is smaller, when they're not buried somewhere in the depths of a ten page part-out thread, or in threads full of useful comments like "oh man if I waznt broke I would totally buy this."

Very rarely do I ever look for something in particular in the for sale section i usually just treat it as a e30 flea market and just browse through what people put up for sale each Day to see if anything good comes up. If searching doesnt turn up what I want for some reason a simple WTB thread usually does.

Instead of breaking up the forums, why not just offer tags/keywords similar to how they do it on bf.c?

Tag your post interior/exterior/driveline/etc and be done with it. vBulletin supports hashtags, maybe we can use those?

I like the one main flea market forum the way it is now. I never have any issues finding stuff to spend monies on.

There are a lot of sub headings that could be combined to make one heading. No Brainer

                  This.

Maybe [new] people need to realize that there's little to no demand for what they're selling, unless they're willing to pretty much give it away, which is what I've been doing lately.

If the body is in decent shape then just sell the whole car, FFS. You're going to save yourself a lot of time and hassle, and it's one less e30 to the scrapper. The era of parting out an '86 eta and making money off it is coming to an end.
