PM functionality here remains unchanged in Tapatalk 4 Public Beta. If/when Tapatalk merges their code base into a single app for both phones and tablets, corresponding by PM on this forum will be next to useless.

Sorry for the delay, I wanted to move over to the new database server before making any further changes. I also wanted to verify Vbulletin 5 compatibility as I'm slowly testing us migrating over to thatComment

Not sure if this is something that can be fixed on the admin side, though I'll mention it here anyway...
When using Tapatalk on my phone I can't reply to PMs using the standard "reply" button (which quotes the previous message). I have to pull up "reply without quote."
When using Tapatalk HD on my tablet I can't reply to PMs at all. It just spins away saying "connecting to server" and never does. So if I'm away from my laptop I have to use my phone, which means I can't quote PMs when replying.
Minor issues, though still annoying.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

The PM issues with Tapatalk appear to have been resolved for me on both my tablet (v4.0.14 beta) and phone (v2.4.13) since James posted earlier that he'd updated it.
I don't know if the v4 beta release has anything to do with it, but R3V won't even load in Tapatalk HD for me.Comment

Seems with the new update to Tapatalk 4, R3V is not loading. Is anyone else experiencing this?
edit: R3V loads on my phone but not on my tablet (both are Android OS). All other forums load on both.Last edited by agent; 10-02-2013, 01:42 PM.Comment

One of my co-admins said there are quite a few threads about the performance issues with v5 on the vBull support forums, and the vBull folks have basically acknowledged that they exist but haven't found a solution to them.Comment

I just installed the Tapatalk update - they removed the "4" for this one - and R3V is again working on my tablet.Comment

Yesterday's 4.2.2 release of vBull appears to address the PHP 5.4 issue, which is what forced many sites into a vBull v5 upgrade they didn't want.Comment
