Hey everyone! My name is Brian, Panjo's Head of Community. James asked that we address some of the concerns that have been mentioned thus far.

As a seller, when a secure, verified payment arrives, you get an email that asks if you want to accept funds or reject funds (high volume sellers can sign up for auto payouts). The buyer's information is all included in that email. If you would prefer not use the Panjo payment system, you can reject the funds and contact the buyer directly. If you decide to accept the funds, you receive the total minus fees instantly into your account. These fees go towards the leadership team at r3vlimited, your dedicated customer support/resolution team via email/phone, and expenses related to operating the community. We also recently implemented machine learning fraud detection and prevention to the marketplace.

With that being said, listing is free in the marketplace. Additionally, members members have access to all of the messaging tools, offer systems, rewards program, and more without making a contribution to the community marketplace.

With regards to the duplicate thread issue you and a few others have reported, we are currently looking into it with our QA team and hope to resolve this ASAP. We haven't been able to reproduce this yet on our end, but if you have additional insight for the steps you took for that to happen, please shoot us an email at support@panjo.com.

I saw that your account had not yet been connected to your forum account. I went ahead and linked them for you! You can see your connections in your public profile here: http://www.panjo.com/profile/38816/earthwormjim.

You can just create one listing for this. Publish your listing, hit 'Edit Listing' and increase your quantity for your listing to the number of parts you are looking to sell. Make sure 'Accepting Best Offers' is checked so that people are able to send you a custom payment for each part. They will be able to include in the note what item they are looking to purchase. As a reminder, you can always reject a sale if you are unable to sell the part at a given price.

I hope this was able to clear up most of the confusion. As always, if there are things we can do to improve your marketplace experience, shoot us an email (support@panjo.com) or give us a call, we love hearing from you! You can also email me directly at brian.lee@panjo.com and let me know how we're doing.

    - Brian

That could explain why the e30 section of bimmerforums has no FS ads

Not a fan of Panjo either, but I'm willing to give it a shot for r3v. Hopefully we can stick with regular FS threads as well, I'd rather not lose more money to fees. Otherwise as someone previously said it will cause a spike in prices similar to eBay.

That's reasonable. Asked about the recycling of threads as Panjo does not look like a great venue to post a spreadsheet worthy list of items. For single items or multiples of same/similar it looks pretty good.

Not sure why Panjo doesn't have an auto-resize, both Craigslist and Ebay do.
    Looking into as well

Panjo's search is also very bad. Even if I tell it to restrict searching to r3vlimited only, I'm getting ebay auction results for WWE dolls when I search S52...

I've asked them to look into this

And if they do we will drop using them, R3V will never require paying if the user chooses not to

If I asked the entire forum about every single change I would get nowhere quick, in the 10 years I've ran this thing its been always about providing additional options/features for users on this forum.

Its a free site, we don't have you paying for anything, and that continues, I've learned over the years that its 100% impossible to please everyone and sometimes we need to go out on a limb, from my perspective I enjoy what Panjo does, I've had numerous conversations with folks who use it, buy and sell on it and the overall perception of the integration was good

If it's about raising money for the forum, there are other options that the users might have preferred that work well on other enthusiast forums, like supporting memberships for example, but it's pointless to discuss other possibilities after the fact. If the users wanted a buying and selling experience that was more like eBay, then couldn't they have already taken all of their business to eBay?
You seem very negative about change, and that is okay, the feedback is good, although I chuckle at your its pointless to discuss other possibilities after the fact notion, we make changes for our users all the time, I get loads of emails, PM's all sorts of stuff and some we do, some we won't, its about keeping things fairly simple.

I've never liked supporting memberships because I feel its cheesy, this site is free, will always be free, and won't even have the option of paying for a greater style membership.

You are correct, you can use eBay, and if you don't that is your choice, as its your choice to not sell on R3V, like I said, its impossible for me to please everyone, I just can't

Also, can you clarify the last part? As a seller, how would you choose to not use Panjo for payment the way it is set up now?
At the moment you can choose to not use Panjo for payment, however at the moment we are continuing to use the Panjo interface

Hmmm. Force people to use a new system if they want to keep buying and selling on your site, and then bribe the users with the users' own money to use the new system.
How am I bribing anyone? If you don't want to use Panjo for payments don't, if you do and want to support the site, you do!
