Official California E30 Sightings Thread

Drove the E30 today and spotted two others, no pics though:

On 405 North, approaching 101 was a bone stock late model black 318is with an old non-enthusiast dude minding his own business. Didnt see me...

The other was a few minutes later on 118 west. Early model 325 with a diving board in the back, racking seat and a late model front who noticed me and was clearly excited to see another white E30 flying down the road. Gave him a thumbs up.

Saw stock black facelift coupe in riverside 10/27 Brockton and Arlington. Looked in really good condition.

Saw a Delphin early model this morning with some old school 5 star wheels. I was in my daily heading south on Sepulveda and saw you heading the opposite direction around the Howard Hughes Center. You on here?

In the US, correct, but euro market got E30 M3 'verts. Less than 1000 made.

I was in an affluent part of suburban San Diego and it is the weekend of what is supposed to be a huge euro show, or else I would be far less inclined to think there is any chance of it being real. It looked bone stock aside from the wheels.

Edit: Side markers in front bumper lead me to think conversion, though GIS results in at least one photo of M3 vert in Europe with same bumper.

Total shit pic, but spotted an E30 M3 'vert in Encinitas tonight. Not sure if real or conversion is more likely at this point with the 25 yr rule. Had out-of state tags but I couldn't tell from where, maybe in town for this big show I guess is going on in San Diego this weekend.
