^ I hang out at the shop that it's being stored at. Autobahn's the place. Basically a junkyard for BMW and Porsche owned by a couple of white dudes. That Euro E30 is pretty fucking clean, though. The owners daily drive decked out E30 Tourings, E39 M5s, Porsche Cayman S, etc.

I dont mind upgrading to smilies but is there more wiring required?

Also, wiring for smilies is a bit different. Your ellipsoid pigtails won't work. You need the two prong female connectors from an E36 foglight for the lows and two prong female connectors from an E36 temp sensor (yellow) for highs. You can use any 2 prong female connector, but some plastic corners might not fit snugly and you'd have to grind or sand em down to fit. Some are rounded and some are square corners. Same goes for the city lights.
