    I called the guy out of curiosity. It's supposedly a long block minus all obd1 components since he obd1 swapped an s52 and stuffed it in there because the s52 had .2 more litres. Doesn't make all that much sense to me so I didn't jump in.

    For anyone who was wondering.

                                            Makes perfect sense to me. obd1 s52 > grunt > s50. Probably cheaper and easier to swap out complete long blocks then just changing the block out. Especially if your a home brew mechanic with out vanos tools.
