if so, do you add the ZDDP additive on the oil?

I use Valvoline VR1 20w50 oil in my M20, it has a high zinc/phosphorus content.

My old 4 door had a cam in it too but I ran standard cheapo 20w50 in that one.

did you notice any difference? just installed a cammed 2.7 stroker and wana use better grade oil than castrol 10w40
