i've moved my steering rack plenty of times to replace my and others oil pans. it shouldn't be too hard. bring some tools tomorrow night and we will get it done.

Heya I am hearing a howling/whooing noise when driving, mostly in turns but when I brake the noise goes away. I am wondering if this is a warped rotor or a caliper that needs to be replaced/rebuilt?

1. Jack up car
2. remove front wheels
3. Remove power steering line from rack
4. Losen knuckle and put wd40 or that blaster shit
5. Take of tie rods
6. Remove rack bolts from subframe
7. Bend down tabs that hold steering rack
8. Drop steering rack
9. Put new one in, make sure the rack is centered and steering wheel also
10. Beer
11. Beer
12. Eat
13. Beer
14. install is reverse of removal and... you're done

Have the same howling/whooing noise. I think it's my diff though cuz the noise is coming from the back

Possibly wheel bearing.. jack up side that makes the noise and check it
