yep, #3. the red plastic clips were old and brittle, and i unintentionally put too much stress on the wires while holding the upper column plastic out of the way to drill. the little springs and ball fell out and now it won't turn over and the accessories don't work. whomp whomp whomp.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug
