ugh, lost my is lip and spoiler in the rain on the highway last night on the 405 around 11:30 thank to a big piece of cardboard. I was right in the middle of the highway and was not willing to turn around and risk my ass to try and get it, way too dangerous and still too many cars on the road so it was probably already toast. I found a chunk of the cardboard lodged in my finned dif cover too! Luckily that was bolted on lol

I've been pissed all morning but then remembered I still needed to submit my November and December mileage expense report for work. Did a little creative accounting and will be using those funds to replace them.

I feel better now, but still pissed i won't have a lip at Doc.

Eibach install turned in to a hunt for fuel starvation :hitler: Car ran itself dry again (well, in to bad fuel) and died down the street from my friend's house. Inclines suck but 4 dudes stopped to help so we made it up half way in to the back driveway.

Story short, when messing with the external pump I saw a leaky line. Took off the bad clamp and when installing a new one, a few small pebbles came out with some filthy gas and soot :loco: Cranked it 3 times and fired up (after adding 91 gas)

skip the creative accounting, report that to the city or publicworks. a friend of mine hit a cone and is getting reiumbursed to fix/paint his lip. so long as you can prove A you had that item on your car and B the damage was done due to a roadside hazard it wouldn't hurt to try?

i'm actually not sure how insulted i should be by this....it is dinanm3 which is a pretty low blow...but too tired right now

being an accounting supervisor is interesting...Even if only temporary it's a great learning experience because man this job is easy :rofl: only bad part thus far is getting up at 6:30 to get in early to run reports and call the up the federal reserve etc. but i am earning OT so who cares :rofl:
