For 13 years I've been running UUC's BLSS Level 3 Race short shift kit with ERK. It's basically a bent MZ3 lever and is SUPER notchy and SUPER short. It was the best available at the time. Well today, I decided to take it all out (which was a pain) and install a z3 1.9 lever. All the hype about this lever is valid. It is awesome and feels perfect with my UUC weighted shift knob. Can't wait to get my DSSR on this thing.

I wish. I was in Jr High when the M3 came out and they were super expensive compared to 318/325e's.

My mom bought a new 85 325e from Long Beach BMW for $24K. That ETA engine when new was so quiet, you couldn't tell the car was running and it was smooth. The E30 was light years ahead of most cars at that time (power sunroof and OBC was a big deal) and made my uncle's E21 320i look like a dinosaur.

My base model 85 hit has an OBC. No a/c though.

Dude; I get people playing with my 13-button all te time in amazement that my car is from the 90s. Then I push my stalk and their jaws drop when I return it to average MPGs lol

I find it peculiar that what would be considered factory stock in the 80s is equivalent to an expensive premium upgrade on a "modern" car... I'd laugh, but I'm too busy SMHing

E30s are by far one of the greatest value-for-money cars I've ever known about

I need to fix my a/c :( this desert heat is killer. Never cared about it before when I lived in the valley just removed the belt since it didn't work anyways. Got it charged with r134 A while back now I think I'm going for a complete retrofit.

I remember what the 318 was like when I was a kid. I wrecked the interior. Haha. When I started driving it I completely cleaned it & found all my melted crayons ,Lego pieces, & toys. Was like a time capsule.
