So I am attempting to fix my sunroof and I have a question.

Here is the reason that the sunroof hasn't worked.You can see where the piece cracked. I was hoping I could easily replace this but on real oem and it looks like it is the drive cable right.





For everyone that has done this can I reuse the other parts or are there any other parts I might need? Anyone selling the pieces I need perhaps?

Looks like your pretty fucked. Same thing happened to mine. I was able to get the cable back in track for a little while then suffered catastrophic malfunction. ended up replacing the whole thing. While I was at it I painted my headliner black. So it was a win lose situation. Good luck :)

Lol, so am i right in what i need to order? It's a bitch to change huh? god damnit...

The driver side works perfectly and even the broken side still pulls fine and everything is lined up, it's just that plastic piece that is cracked is the only bad thing.

My headliner is messed up so I was actually thinking of getting it reupholstered in black.

Honestly e30 sunroofs r a lot easier than people make them out to be. It's just knowing what to do. Your already half way there so if u can repair it then go at it. Knowing is half the battle! GOOOOO JOE!
