Bought the car today, very well could have been m20 skid plate...looks like the oil pan had been already cracked and jb welded...nice...atleast I like a challenge, anybody have one modified or know of someone selling one that is modified smaller...or atleast a new one?

There was a guy who modified e34 pans, but that's long gone.
You need a new pan!

How hard is it to switch out the oil pan, just un-bolt it and replace the gasket correct?

This is the reason why I don't like to lower my cars all that much. Everyone from the forum who has seen my car always tells me it needs a little low! I'm like it needs more high!

Some people just aren't attentive enough to drive a slammed car. If you pay attention and don't drive like a tool you should be ok. I plan on running a steel oil pan for retarded slammage.

a 2 piece 265 trans? Or did you mean 260 from a standard e30?

Does anyone run it, is it really as heavy duty as it looks, I serioiusly thought about it...

So after removing the skid plate I realized its a 5 inch crack on the front of the oil pan, but mainly on the flat part, so I am gonna try and jb weld it and see if it will hold till i find a replacement, and/or get it welded

The skid plate you have now is attached to the weakest part of your front end. The front core support is just to hold the radiator and reduce chassis flex. Roberts plate is mounted to the frame rails. Can't get any stronger then that. Or you can be crazy like me and have a steel oil pan made. Smash it, unbolt it, hammer it out, good as new. lol

Just saw a fisker karma crew. Like 20 of them in SM on beach. Bunch of old people. Didn't think they did that kind of stuff. Pretty weird hearing all that fake rocket power noise hovering down the street.

I am less than 2 inches off the ground, about inch and a half id say
