The outside looks OK but the missing pieces and the engine bay look terrible. Needs to be detailed and better pics, if he is serious about selling the car. Overall, it's priced alright considering all of the maintenance work. 14K would be a good deal.

New wheels came in yesterday for the M3. 16x7.5 et 13 and 16x8.5 et 25. The deal was so good I could not resist.

Trying to find a staggered set of 16" tires is a little harder than the 17"'s. Has anyone run 225/45/16's on the front and 245/45/16's on the rear of their car? The rear will be taller by 22mm so I'm not sure if that work/look good or not.

          Cheers,

          Jim

No i usually run 205/50/16 and going to running 225/50/16 ventus RS3 in 2 weeks. Time to roll those fenders. Does tony still roll them?

              Nice Jim!

What about just doing 205/50 front and 225/45 rear?

225/45/16 is correct. Perhaps 245/40/16 for the rear?

                  Go "big" or go home...

Like I should be talking though as I put 215/40/17s on my main set of DD wheels....Sad panda.

Thanks Terry, yes Tony still does this. Maybe we can get together and give him a couple of cars to make it worth his time to come down to your house. I can drive up there if that's OK with you.

Thanks Matt, This seems like the best bet to keep from any rubbing issues from my research.

Thanks Berry, I can't seem to find the 245/40's in 16".

I'd like to go as big as I can without having rubbing issues. Darn 16" tires are getting harder and harder to find. I am thinking about going with the Toyo Proxes R1R. I know they are soft (140) but it seems like with my driving habits and so many cars that they start to checker before I wear them out. :D

                    Cheers,

Sounds good Terry, Check with Tony on his schedule and we can go from there. I am guessing it will happen on a Sunday seeing that you are such a workaholic. I think my place is too far for him to drive but if he will we can use the lift and I will have him do two cars. Either way I am in.

Thanks Travis, My best deals on wheels so far at $131.50 each shipped. :D

Nice deal Jim, I think Matt beat me to the suggestion, of tire size already. Should look pretty beefy. ;)
