        If you can't get it off with the hammer and wrench/screwdriver trick you can rent the fan clutch cool from Autozone.

                  While it may not help you now to order that tool in the future the right tool for the job is seriously a godsend. Fiddling around for an extra few minutes vs 5 seconds. :rofl:

                          If anyone is going to ever invest in a fan clutch tool just pick up a headset wrench at a bike shop.

                                Check out your local shop, most of them have "parktools" and a generic brand of tools also available, I had a full set long ago when my bikes all had threaded headsets, got rid of them and then was reminded by trey that they are perfect for fan clutches -__-
