If the timing belt is already snapped, couldn't you pull the head by just removing the alternator belt? Its not like you need to get everything TDC first. lol

power steering delete. solved. removed mine on the e30, liked it better without it.

Once the head is off i believe you can unbolt the entire wasser pump.

Don't think you can on an e24. The brake assist is linked to it too.

Does deleting PS make your car feel like the newer bimmers?
I mean does it get tighter while driving or just when your going slow. Maybe ill remove the belt tomorrow and try it out.

hm, not sure about that. but i sure liked how it felt when going on canyon runs. it may be tough to get used to the first few days, especially if haven't experienced it before or if you even lift weights bdro.

Turning the wheel while stationary just looks reaaaallly exaggerated. But you do get used to it. However my biceps hang upside down.

Power steering feels like a toy once you're used to driving without it.
