              Any reason to not power wash my engine bay? I have a gnarly power steering leak but everything is covered in grime and I can't see where it's coming from.

                  i think im gonna power wash or take 2 days cleaning my bay since im taking off the head i hope to have it nice clean n ready for bimmerfest :)

                    I did mine Jason, just keep the pressure away from the electrical stuff. Focus on the enging block and metal components.

                        I scrub what I can with degreaser and use those coin operated carwash places with the pressure hose

                              Just cover the alternator to be on the safe side along with the fuse box and the coil pack. That's really the essentials I think...

                              But then I'd need to buy a grinder to grind a wrench that fit down...

                              I've lost a breaker bar and countless useful sockets that way...
