For the m20s in my life I normally run the cheap deal at my work because I change it often enough that it's no big deal. I've done a lot of reading on that oilguy.com forum or whatever and its the general concensus is that fram filters are no good because of small ports and crappy glue holding the filter element together or iirc. The m42 gets Mobil 1 15-50 and Mann/myle filters cause I love it more <3

            Also, if you have spares:

            Buy deal
            Use spare
            Return fram
            Profit???

I also run 87 octane most of the time. i understand having preferences, but in the end it's still an m20.

don't think you can return the filter on it's own otherwise you don't get the deal.

You can at autozone. All we do is scan the receipt and the filter and you get the filter back at full price!

Its not that I love them, your not going to convince me one way or another that anybody is going to see any amount of difference in their oil filter short term, sure there may be a bad one or whatever but nobody changes their oil and is like shit, must be a bad oil filter...maybe over a decade of using a bad filter eventually you may yes see a difference, but thats just me
Lol not trying to convince you...just relating my somewhat experience with them. But short term I def agree with you on that

this is true. Thanks for the tip. Now I gotta find something to order first lol

I run 87 all day too. No point in running anything else unless if you have tune or something like that imo

Would valves that need to be adjusted cause lower gas mileage?

Do you source them locally or on the interwebz? I'm all about that factory bizz for now since I haven't really modded anything.
I'm running castrol gtx too but need to find something for the zinc content Castrol lacks
