If you drive your e30 on stairs, you're gonna have a bad time.

That's how you start a flooded engine.

Sounds like you've got an open loop problem since it seems to run ok in closed loop.

So you are saying its a TPS problem?

Anyone know of a reputable test+repair smog place?

I thought that just my O2 sensor was shot, but looks like I've got bigger problems. I'm hoping it's either an intake leak or an FPR issue, but If carb cleaner and vacuum and pressure gauges can't help, I need someplace that'll help get me back on the road fast without killing my wallet.

Not necessarily. I would start by checking that + MAF, FPR, and coolant temp sensor.

ok guys, now im pretty sure its the ecu, almost 90% sure. The car fires up for a short amount of time with the injectors unplugged. Im pretty sure they are stuck open due to the ecu being fucked up. I know the injectors are good BTW.

I'm gonna try another ecu I got also. Maybe that'll solve the idle dropping on my car too.

Doesn't hurt to swap. Just make sure you've got steady output from the alternator, too. The ECU can do funky stuff otherwise.
