The key is actually not going to be the second mount, think of that as a fulcrum to your lever, and the issue is going to be the first mount...
Look at it like this...
I dont think it is the weight that you need to figure out but rather the force need in the down direction at F1 to balance out the weight or whatever you have on your pole, In your case your camera

You need to find the momemt of inertia. Sum the mass of the rod and use its distance at the centroid Then add the moment of the weighted end.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
