uh i believe there is a way to transfer funds over manually which takes a few business days and then of course if you have your bank account linked it automatically allows you to pay instantly without any fees if you pay as gift.
When I picked up my MS I paypal gifted keith $500 from my linked account and it charged me $15?

Yeap, had the same thing happen to me. It's probably better, to just send the money for goods and be insured., knah meen?

That is probably because you have it linked to a credit card and not your checking account. I believe you can change that in the settings.

+1. Thats their standard 3% credit card fee. A shit ton cheaper than a cash advance.

Also go a sweet deal on ebay for a lens. Turns out it had a shit ton of fungus. Lucky for me it cleaned up nicely with some ammonia.

that's awesome nigel. i wish the e36 had that so i could do that.

i also bought a super takumar for cheap that had the radioactive "yellowing" that's so common amongst those lenses and i just stuck it under a black light for 48 hours and it's almost entire gone, you can hardly notice it anymore.

I'm going to go to Sammy's camera today and pic up some lens tissue. The lens cloth leaves little swirls on the lens coating. Kind of a pain to get it perfectly clean. But considering I got it for half of what a beat up used one goes for I'm still eased with my purchase. IQ is still sharp

You should try a lens pen thingy. The carbon or whatever the hell is at the end does a great job of leaving no streaks, doesn't smudge and you can easily get all the way to the very edge of the glass.

i made a cleaning solution that cleans really well and leaves no streaks. it's half rubbing alcohol and half distilled water in a little mini spray bottle. i just mist it and wipe clean with a good microfiber.

                              those work great, surprisingly.

What's good guys, is that the lens you were hoping for Nigel? Sounds like you got a heck of a deal!
