Speaking of oil, it seems Rotella T, Delo and 10w-40 are now the thickest oil you can buy off the shelf. 20w-50,15w-50 is damn near extinct.
You must be shopping in the nice parts of the city Barry, stores in low income neighborhoods sell 20-50 like pancakes at iHop. 15-50 is a bit harder to come by though, few brands make it available, and the ones that do are pricey so it's harder to find due to lack of demand.
I was a bit upset last time i got oil, bought a big handle of the rotella 10/40 and it was only 4qts... when did they start doing that! Last time I changed the oil in the silver car myself I used the same shit and it was 5qts.... they be playing games . . .
best place to get oil deals is walmart. I think i paid 11.99 for the rotella
TBH they started doing that not too long ago, about year and a half I think. You may have bought NOS. Walmart is always the cheapest, while I've been working at Oreilly I price match to Walmart when I'm buying my oil, idk how Walmart does it.

They pay their employees shit, and if you go to the middle of no where in america you will find a walmart surrounded by a bunch of abandoned local businesses, and the prices are twice that of everywhere else...they build a walmart in these small communities charge half as much as everyone else, drive out the competition, then charge three times everywhere else and cover their costs for the next operation...its a waffleswaffleswaffleswafflesing scam and i wont shop there, i only shop lift from those waffleswaffleswaffleswafflesers
I dunno what to tell you guys. Autozone in San Pedro, Walmart in Torrance, Pepboys in Harbor City Costco in Torrance and O'Reilly's in RPV...none of them had 15w-50 or 20w-50 oil. I think they are only ordering small batches and it gets sold out faster or they don't stock it at all. Walmart shelves were emptied of any and all 20w-50. Didn't even see Chevron supreme or GTX in 20w-50.
