thanks guys. I'll pick-up the s14 motor tonight at the previous owner's storage.
partial list of items to fix:
a. engine was removed & rebuilt by PO - need to re-install to engine bay
b. new exhaust system - rusted
c. rust on battery tray & lower-center portion of front windshield
d. new front bumper (cracked)
e. driver's side seat - needs upholstery
f. fresh coat of paint

Congratulations once again Emil. I still have the remainder of Brian's chassis here if you need me to cut you out the battery tray and a portion of the windshield frame let me know. No charge for the new E30 M3 guy in town.
As Barry may have told you there are some great guys out there that can repair your old bumper. Used, those things are rare as hen's teeth and once you price them out you will think that they are made out of gold.
Best wish with your new project and I hope you can get-r-done by Archiefest.
