Where can i pick up some spacers locally (on the cheap) 5mm front with bolts and 10mm rear with bolts. TIA

Not sure where exactly locally that is open today but you don't need extended bolts for 5mm spacers just for 10mm and up if I recall correctly.

Test drove an FR-S yesterday...Was sorely disappointed by the manual gearbox. I got out of the car and immediately wanted to be back in an bmw manual :rofl: So far the only JDM gearbox I like is the s2000 gearbox, everything else has been rubbish.

honda gearboxes tend to be pretty fantastic, other than that im not a super big fan the asisn gearboxes most asian firms use

Honda gear boxes feel "technical"

Nissan/Toyota gearboxes are confused on what their purpose is.

E30's feel like your shaking hands with an old friend... That you occasionally hate so you bang gears.

So, one of my wheels sticks out a little less than an inch more than the other side. The side that sticks out more also has around 1 degree less camber than the other side (no camber plates) Any idea what might be causing this? Im thinking camber plates might bandaid it so I can adjust the camber to the same on both sides.

Little history, all the steering components are new, ground control coils. this is on the e24

autocheck says none but the driver side (side with less camber,sticking out more) fender has a DOT-R fender so im assuming there was a fender bender that didnt go through insurance

Possible. Control Arm might just tweaked if theyre original.

im thinking maybe bent strut tube or maybe somethings off with the front subframe?

how would i even go about checking that though?

Thats depressing. I bet it was a fender bender at one point. Friends alignment looks exactly the same from a fender bender. Camber plate bandaid is your best bet
