this is what I am leaning towards, plus one of them is like a 10 minute WALK to work, so projects wont create a problem getting to work if they arent done in time. only thing is that I dont know how Fullerton is, socially. I know theres the CSU closeby but Im not a college aged person...
This is what my fear is with getting a place in HB or Costa Mesa. Im not sure which of the two commutes it would be
Is there stuff to do in Fullerton?
I don't know if anyone has responded to this, but here's my $.02
Fullerton is a really nice city to live in. It's like a more relaxed, less swanky Costa Mesa.
I'd MUCH rather commute 5 miles to work 5x a week and 15 miles to the beach on occasion than the other way around.
As for things to do in Fullerton: Downtown Fullerton is lively. It fills up with the bar scene folk weekend nights but other than that there are great places to eat and hang out. Lots of hiking/MTB trails around, too.
It's also more centrally located than Costa Mesa. 10-25 miles to Newport/CM, Long Beach, LA.
2ean (Sean?), after thinking about it last night that is exactly the conclusion I came to. Id rather have the short commute for the 5 days and deal with the traffic when I am out and about than vice versa. Plus the places I found in Fullerton all have one car garages and thats an important thing for me

A girl I trained with that's my age is getting married and told me she's excited for her new car and to start making car payments and rent. How fucked is that?
The only car payment I want to make is towards a six speed swap.
