it's different for everyone. i know more than a handful of people who have left california with no plans on returning and they live a much better life. larger home, MUCH less crime, neighbors are like family, weather is great, much nicer views, overall just a much better environment.I love it when people hate on Cali.
That just means that you're going to venture into another state, realize that you can't get Cali anywhere else, then comeback with your tail between your legs., and yes I understand about the cost of living, quality of life, yadda yadda yadda.... ;)
Cali rules! \m/
california was a wonderful place to come to back in the day. my immigrant grandparents fled their countries and moved here, legally of course, and settled in california because it was the go to place. however, i don't see that anymore. everything is politically correct here, highest taxes for everything and it will be going up even more, our crime rate isn't the highest but it's pretty damn bad, high cost of living compared to income, etc, etc. even if i had millions, i wouldn't permanently live in california.
i would be more than happy to come visit, but i would have no intent on staying again.Last edited by ethrtyiS; 12-03-2013, 11:58 PM.

Make sure you get the AZ license to match or cops will give you shit. You can potentially get a ticket for having an out of state plate for too long in CA. If you "live" in AZ the majority of the time and "travel to CA" occasionally you'll be fine.
Dude when I bought the Scion I paid almost $700 for taxes and registration renewal. :(
You're better off marking for $100. Less chance of DMV auditing your purchase.
Did he send you any nudes? There are some fucking creepy people on craigslist.

PS: There's a lot more to California than the shithole San Fernando Valley. ;)Comment

That's pretty much the plan or possibly re-establish my business there and put the car under the business name. The business type is entertainment/retail. When I first moved here I drove around Burbank/SFV for over a year with AZ plates and never was stopped. Even did the AZ smog test from here. I think I still have my AZ license. Unlike Cali they are good for 40 years.
