I'm getting it just for the camera. Switching from the Note 2. Android's the shit but apple's camera takes the cake.

the LG G2 and the S4 cameras are both rated better than the 5s.
i haven't even looked into the S4 Zoom nor the Nokia Lumia 1020.

The updated G2 camera is MUCH MUCH better than the release, which can also be flashed *now* to AOSP roms. The pics here in the BBS thread were taken with my G2...Comment

yeah, if i were to get a new phone i wouldn't be getting the note 3, i'd be getting the G2. it has the best camera on the market.

When I buy a phone, the last thing I consider is the camera. I have a camera for that.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

^Luckily both are being integrated quite well...finally, and one less item to carry in my skinny jeans.Comment

i agree. it's nice not always having to carry a camera around separately. iphone better come out with some phenomenal hardware upgrades to camera and other things if they want to maintain their customers. the market for android and even windows phones are just too large. a new phone is released every few months whereas the iphone is only released every 6-9 months.

^Yes but most people upgrade at the 2yr upgrade path. The 6-9mo seems to allow a good compromise to hang with the best, yet allow those that will not buy off-contract to not feel too behind.
IMO, this is the first good generation of Android devices, which I have had since first Motorola Droid.
Other companies don't put out phones every 3 months or so, unless they have quite a large line of phones. I really think Apple is best served with their 1-2 phones with a bi-yearly update. Besides, it's not just up to Apple, other companies are dealing with their timelines for product, such as CPU, RAM or battery tech...which Apple has little to no control over.Last edited by R3Z3N; 12-23-2013, 10:50 PM.Comment
