Im mostly motivated by money, and I'm willing to learn a new trade. The one who offered me the job is an old family friend, and we work well together. Don't think this opportunity will come around again, and I'd really like the cash to enjoy my hobbies. The benefits are really desirable also so I may just jump on it and see where this goes. Trying to find every reason not to take the job, but so far all signs point to take it
As long as you are a hard worker the work will be there. If it is a Union job that is a plus. I worked Heavy Civil for a few years and it is hard work and sometimes long hours but the friends that I have in the trade do well.
