Hmm, don't have too many tips on that one. Just mark everything and make sure you don't reassemble the two halves in a different orientation, but I'm sure you know that already.

Alright, tried RTV silicone on the water pump and it still leaked. I think the WP mating surface is just no good. I don't recognize what manufacturer it is, either. The impeller looks unusual.

So the owner brought me a new WP, slapped that on a little over an hour ago, and now it seems to be holding coolant just fine. :D

Well I haven't taken the driveshaft apart yet, just loosened everything so that it can hang down. I got the top bitch clip and carrier off...I just can't get the little link piece that goes into the trans out. I got the retainer off, just can't get the pin out.

Which link piece are we talking about? The one for the selector rod?

This is the piece I'm having issues with. It looks like the new one is physically narrower than the old one too...the old one fills out the selector shaft.

I think there were 2 different models when i ordered my parts. Not 100% sure though. Are the part #'s the same on the new and old one?

Oh you'd definitely take him down low and he'd have to play catch up since it's a gt35. More of an upper rpm and highway monster.

Our cars boost around the same rpm range since my car uses a T4 turbo. We are both using log manifolds but he has a ball bearing and a better flowing head. In 4th gear if i roll on to it starting at 2k rpm i hit full boost at around 3600rpm.

My buddy just came over a little while ago to pick up some front grilles, so I had him crank it over for the first start, haha. Crappy phone quality and no exhaust installed, lol.
