Do the stomp test to get the code.
You can check the TPS with a multimeter or test light. Pull the plug from under the TB. You'll see 3 pins on the connector on the TB side. With the throttle plate closed, it should register as closed circuit on the right 2 pins and open on the left 2. Then moving away just slightly, you should have open circuit on pins 1-2 and pins 2-3. Then at WOT, closed on the left pair of pins, open circuit on the right.

I'll do stomp test tonight. Anyone wanna help me check tps tmo at sb meet?

saw a e24 today 635csi 5 speed it was soo baller, best part is it's sitting on alpina's and the guy doesn't know what they are :rofl: if i can talk him down a bit i could pick it up and flip it for a small profit...thoughts r3v?

are the vdo and motometer speedos the same aside from the plastic gears?
ie can i stick all my vdo gears into a motometer speedo and have it read accurately?

The odometer i gave you is a VDO. It was just inside a motometer cluster. I'm pretty sure its a VDO cause i swapped all the guts from the VDO cluster in my blue car

Look for vacuum leaks, check ICV, AFM, fuel pressure, etc.

sad day...check light is only at idle, and it pulls fine through the revs fine. thinking not vacuum? icv cleaned last month, newish fuel pump..

fpr? check all lines? brake booster hose. anything will set it off.

i don't really care about the light, it idles like shit and the throttle is jumpy.
