finally got around to replacing the CPS (had to end up drilling out the rounded out bolt) and.... STILL NOTHING... I'm beyond frustration. any ideas gents? no crank over or fuel prime still...

Do you have spark? Are the injectors clicking? Have you verified fuel is flowing?

There are only a couple things necessary for kick-over. throwing parts at a car is less effective than isolating the problem.

Check the in line fuse in the trunk. Follow the small wire 6 inches or so back.

Actually if you jump the fuel pump relay and it turns on it's fine. Try a different dme.

Again, throwing parts at a problem usually doesn't make it go away unless you can isolate the issue a little more.

Don't bother trying to get an ecu from the yard unless you intend to five finger it. They'll want way too much.

as of yet, i haven't really "thrown parts at it" as you'd put it. i replaced the CPS because it seemed to be what everyone suggested to replace, as its a common issue. I'm testing the battery, finding/checking the fusible link, and testing spark tomorrow morning... trust me, i haven't the funds to just throw parts at this thing.

I'm just saying that spark, fuel and injector fire can be checked in about five minutes with trunk kit tools.

You're troubleshooting for no spark+no fuel with DME and CPS.
