At mt.Sac is crazy, i've seen that happen quite oft innercity, from what i know, some people are plain looking for a quick buck so they resell the batteries to used auto part places, remanufacturers etc. some people need the battery, others like andrew said are helping themselves setup, they're all shit though.
I'd say get your car out of there as quick as you can!

sorry and best of luck !

So I'm at Mt.Sac this morning studying. pack up an hour ago to go to work. Get out to the car (honda) and try to start it. Nothing, no tired turnover, no clicks, zilch. I'm thinking, "well that's odd". Went and popped the hood.....someone decided to help themselves to my battery!? No hacked wires, the connectors were neatly loosened with the tie down politely set in the tray.

Yes, my doors were left unlocked, but the thief didn't touch anything valuable. (including the remote jump starter in the trunk, ironically.) He just nabbed the battery and left. So now I'm stranded at school with class @ 5pm. Guess I'll just call AAA after class and go from there (can't find any auto parts store within walking distance).
I just ordered my parking permit for Mt. Sac! I'll be a freshman this year and I'm kind of worried to park there now! :hitler: I have an alarm and my doors lock though.

As if an alarm ever stopped anyone.

At least they didn't cut your cables. If they were going to steal it anyway, it's nice that they did it neatly? Tying to find the silver lining here...

Right?! It's just bizarre, feel like it could have been a much bigger headache. Thanks guys.

Follow-up time. I called campus security and they met me out at the car. Before I could say anything the officer said "let me guess, stolen battery?" Apparently 5 other pre-2000's Hondas had their batteries liberated from their collective bustiers just today. They apparently saw the thief but he jumped in his car and took off (no plates).

Called AAA, got replacement battery and moved car closer to campus buildings and heavier foot traffic.

              - Luke, you should be fine. In all, Mt. Sac is a great CC (especially if you're planning on going to Cal Poly Pomona).

That's good to know and I'm glad there are Bimmer enthusiasts at Mt. Sac.

                  Guys

                  Is the e30 m3 e-brake setup any different that tradition e30 e-brake?

Also, I'm told e32 rear carriers work instead of m3 carriers for stock m3 brakes?

                      Replaced: cps, coil
Brand new Brembi cap and rotor.
                      Any ideas?

                        Get a new multimeter.
                        Check your battery.
Check the voltage going to the starter.
Check to see the starter is being grounded.

For good measure, clean all electrical connections.

So far, all research points to the two systems being exactly the same

You can use e32/318ti rear carriers, but the need to be ground down .25" on all inside mounting surfaces to sandwhich in between the rear carrier mounts
