I have never really understood the point of cashiers checks. It really isn't like it's guaranteed since there are fake ones used out there every day. I would prefer a personal check and ID and wait the 3 days for the check to clear. At least that way you have a paper trail.
Cashier's checks are funds already withdrawn from the account and into the check - so it's guaranteed to never bounce or be bad. It's just as good as cash. Think about it as cash with someone's name on it - it's only able to be used by whoever the payee is.
It takes longer than 3 days to clear personal checks occasionally. Banks give you all the funds the next day as a courtesy thing. It doesn't insure that the check will be still good. Best bet is to go to the bank the check is drawn from and directly ask someone if the check has funds and cash it there on the spot.
I'd be just as worried of a bad cashier's check as I would be of counterfeit 100's.
Idk just thought that both horns were wired up to their ow n circuit because when you push the left button the left horn goes on and the right goes on when you push the right horn.button.
If your car does this there's something very wrong! In fact I'm really not sure if it's possible...
anyone know if i get a aftermarket steering wheel will i lose both of my horns? i like having 2 horns to honk at people lol
i know you can have one but id like to keep both
Need a favor to get a car checked out. Can be shown in Fallbrook as well.
No thanks Turde.
Sorry but I had a couple of things come up on the Mtech that I have to fix after yesterdays drive. Funny how these cars get pissed off when you don't drive them and things stop working correctly. Then I have to do the final detail and get it ready for shipping so I really don't have time this weekend.

I got a Bluetooth OBDII dongle for $10 on Amazon. It doesn't have a pretty app like that one, but for $4 on Google Play you can get Torque which works pretty badass.

Moral of this story?
If you drive your e30 on stairs, you're gonna have a bad time.

You gotta love the E30... or not. Fridays test drive found the OBC not working so Saturday I fixed that problem(loose connection I think). I took the car for another test drive and the Tach and Gas Milage gauge stopped working. This morning I tore both sides of the dash apart again to see if I could figure out what wire got disconnected and could find nothing wrong so I swapped the cluster with another one and bingo the Tach worked perfect. Go figure... I will miss the Mtech and for some reason I don't thing she wants to go to NYC. LOL
