In contrast to what some young R3Vers have been doing to their faded-paint, I today tried to correct the fade on the top of my front bumper, and the thin piece of fascia which run along the bottom of my grilles - in preparation for my new Euro Smileys & Euro grilles.

I didn't want to install my awesome new headlights to a faded, pink front fascia.

So here is what my friend and I did this morning before we hit the books.

Quick - but effective. We sanded the surfaces down, primed, and laid down some paint, which I must say is VERY close to Diamantschwarz. Looks pretty good for what it is!

Unfortunately not.

It may be caused by the bad subframe mount i have on the pass. side. So I need to do the pair. I also need to replace my: control arms, press in my m3 cabs, engine mounts, diff mounts (swap the diff to a 4.10 lsd while im under there :D), and some other misc shit I wanna get done over winter break.

What do you guys think of the Revshift rear bushing kit? And their engine mounts? I'm sick and tired of all my bushings be broken and kinda wanna go fuh raze on them. Will all that polyurethane make the car unbearable for daily use?

Never heard anyone complain about subframe mounts creaking.
Trailing arms yes if not lubed like a virgin butt.
I also would never use a poly rear diff mount.
Stock Mcoupe is what I'll be doing - solid rubber, unlike E30's with them holes in between.

Or if your cheap you can take a stock mount and use a hard silicon to fill in the holes. Voila diy solid rubber mount

The drive was great, the view was good. It was just the two of us. This is the lookout point, just a little further up the road was the food shack. My friend and I ate in the building and went back out to look at the Milky Way, but there were clouds.

So I'll have to go back again.
