I'm pretty sure I've gained 75whp over a healthy M20 and at least 25whp over a built M20. I still have a stock exhaust setup, so there's still room to grow

Honestly, stick with the M20. I was already going to have to deal with the BAR because my car didn't have the M10 when I bought it so I figured why not go 24v

That's actually a seperate issue that is being taken care of. Tags got sent to nor cal, they're getting sent down to me in SD now. Shouldn't be an issue

Make sure the head has been resurfaced. It's the only way to do the job properly. Make sure the block surface is prepped and cleaned well. Make sure you use new head bolts WITH washers.

So my girlfriend comes to me with the proposition of painting the roundie, Inka Orange.

              Is my life complete now?

                What color is it now?
Everyone is painting their 02s Inka. It's a hot color, but you better do it right. Don't half-ass the repaint.

And PM me regarding those seats.

With most cars, unless its been repainted 6x and each one has been progressively worse, I always recommend sticking with original colors...

I'd have to agree. Keep it original color. That will help maintain the value in my opinion too.

I'm def a keep it factory color guy myself, but something about Sahara Beige doesn't complete me, its original 48yo paint, so perhaps that's why I dont like it right now, it got plenty of neglect over the decades.

                      Ryan, i pm you

But my car was already black! The new color still has "black" in the name of it. ;)

If you're dead set on repainted to different color, keep it 2002-specific and in a color offered for that year.

2002 guys don't mind color changes, but it has to be done correctly.

I've been on the fence about painting my 73 Polaris Silver car Colorado Orange. I prefer Colorado Orange, but I also have a mad erection for a nice Polaris roundie.

I'm pretty on about staying Polaris, and did some things to get my hands on a 72 original Colorado car. So I now I can have one of each.

you got an e30M3 rack? those are either pricey or hard to come by, congrats!

if its just a rack replacement you're good to go, just grab some copper washers to fit on the banjo bolts to the rack and a quart of ATF.

Good time to replace the oil/oil pan gasket.

But yes! I got it at roughly 1/5th for the price of what BavAuto and others are selling for.

I would have opted for a Z3 rack, but this was such a good price, that it was literally more cost-effective to go M.

And yes! Actually, the oil-pan broke in the rock slide accident so it will all be replaced at once, with the subframe - which was also damaged bad in the accident.
