We avoid going there at night since it's mostly trouble makers at that hour to be honest. So morning it is. It's just as empty and then bikers start coming in closing in towards 10am.

Really wanna go to GMR on one of these Sunday drives. Just got back, love it every time but the crowd during the nights confuses me. Would join on autox if I didn't have tickets to a beerfest that Saturday!

Random knowledge learned today: I should go 3.73>2.93. No canyon gear atm as 2nd goes to 75. Then I did some mpg testing with the obc on the way home: 4th gear (which equates to 3.62 diff in 5th gear close enough) got only 1 mpg less than 5th at 70 mph driven similarly over a decent few miles and repeated a couple times. Now 4th gear has an "unfair" efficiency advantage in this case because it's a 1:1, but still that probably means I just round up to 1.5 mpg lost at cruise, and the taller gearing isn't more efficient if I need acceleration.

So maybe 1 mpg off my combined mileage and I get a proper canyon gear in return. And better burnouts. BMW made the right choice gearing the 325i.
