Sup socal. Doing rear wheel bearings on the green machine soon to get it back into good shape for being my DD again. S54 swap for the E46 4dr starts in a couple of weeks. :D
Been debating for a while between restoring the E30 or tracking it out, and I think I've finally decided it's going to be my track car.
Not sure if I should use the M54 coming out of the E46, pick up another S54, or build up an LS6.

Does anyone know if stock e30 tweeters will work with an after market head unit & speakers ? Do they have crossovers ?
yes you can, they wire up to the speakers. if your putting in after market speakers, you have to wire them the same way, most speakers come with tweeters attached, use that wire.

Well we did a block test > passed------ cranking compression test > passed---------compressed air in to cylinder to check for cracks in cylinder head/head gasket > passed. I think we need to do a oil pressure test next and go from there. I am really baffled, i had the oil pressure light coming on. But i was confused because when i tryed to crank it to start you can tell there is a loss of compression but it starts with no problem what so ever and no engine noises other than i need a valve adjustment. I drive 3000 miles on my oil changes and changed the oil this weekend ???????????

Can you hear where it's losing compression from, though? Are the plugs sealing ok?

Yep no problem there with the plugs. We did a traditional compression test on each cylinder then we did a compressed air test in to each cylinder with the valves closed and if there is a leak it would push compressed air in the cooling system and which would push coolant out the expansion tank which would tell me that i have a cracked head or headgasket issue..

Think someone can pull me a late model passenger fog light I can trade you for a working driver side fog light and a inside driver door handle for cheap?
