magnaflows are kinda raspy. Shouldn't sound bad. I say go for it! I have yet to even get looked at with my exhaust and its pretty fucking loud.

sooooo we narrowed down the problem to no fuel. for whatever reason, the fuel pump isn't getting power. changed the fuel pump and still no juice.

fuel relay was checked unless the 02 sensor relay is bad also..
wiring is what might be causing all this

60% of the whole car is custom wiring, which worries me.

Check if the relay is getting voltage on the input side. If yes and it's not clicking on, change the relay. If it is clicking on, you have a break between it and the fuel pump.

If not, the DME needs to register a signal from the CPS before it will activate the fuel pump. There are a few different ways the CPS hooks up, but i-M20s with motronic 1.1/1.3 should have the CPS at the 10 o'clock position on the crank damper and no reference sensor. (Btw, matching crank damper should have the missing tooth near the O|T mark. This is important for ignition timing, not fuel.)

why is it custom. the car was org a 325i correct?> There should be no custom wires anywhere... Everything should be the same as you took out the old engine. thats why its called "plug and play"
