      I'm in Sunnyvale. Kronus and I knocked the front bearings out in about 40 minutes per side on our cars and the only "special" tool we used was a standard 2-jaw puller.

      The kit for the rears cost about $390 shipped. There's a cheaper BMW-only kit from the same company for about $50 less. Then again, you could try to put something together using parts from Home Depot.

          hmm alright thanks! im thinking about buying the set from harbor freight. anyone need a wheel bearing done too? perhaps we can all split the difference and get our bearings done for real cheap.

                idk, my buddy's girlfriend has a 5spd anniversary mustang GT and i'm pretty damn sure it can take me at any range in a straight line, having driven it a couple times. it's just a torquemonster. i think a V6 stick would be a good fight....but why bother?

                        this was like a 99-03 model , i read the newer ones have like a 60 hp gain. anyways im sure ill see this guy agian, he turned of into the street i live on haha

                            i have the tool and ive done the job. even with the tool on mine it was a PITA. make sure you have all the proper other stuff like antiseize good pullers definitely an impact etc. if you got all that ill bring the tool by and help out. let me know when you want to do it and ill see if im available. the tool i got is from harbor freight btw.
