$150 an hour? That guys gassing you up. That's mechanical labor rate. Body rates are $35-55 and hour. Welding is $55-80. So let's say 6 hrs at $60 is $360.

            how about pulling the frame??
i went to a few shops...just to pull the frame was 250to where it should be, welding the core support they said 200, and aligning every and putting the body parts, radiator, hood bumper, fenders they said 300 to get everything align... another shop said 800 to do the same...another was 950, and the most expensive that specialize in bmw was 2.5k "do it right" they said to reinforce the frame, align the doors, pull and straighten the frame, and align everything...my budget was to not go over 500 on body work...budget is 1k from money i borrowed from a friend...so cant go over 1k with parts and labor....

well you know how they have books and software that tells them how long it takes to do the job?
it said 7 hours just to weld and cute the radiator support alone....

You could take an angle grinder and cut out the radiator support yourself. That probably a couple hours of labor you could save. I worked for AAA insurance for over 6 years and my fiancé is also currently a claims adjuster as well. I've bought, fixed, and flipped several cars through out the years as well. Take a look at my vw build thread. I had a lot of customization, straightening, full respray, and a new windshield done for $1300. Cab repair places are a good source for cheap work. They enjoy working on something other then crown vics all the time. Also check out PAC auto body. Can't remember the city name off the top of my head.
