true , but i can show up with a big chunk of money direct then you can still get it. Again credit from credit cards is different credit for a house. Im in dept about 1500bux , but that didnt effect me getting a house. All credit is, is just showing you can make payments... You can build credit just by paying your bills in full on time. i fucked up back when i first got out of high school over 7 years ago. I fucked up by not paying my bills for a new phone , over drafting at the bank , and never paing for some bullshit at a tow yard. Fuck it , stacking cash is win. if you can show you got money you'll have a higher chance getting what you apply for.

just having a large down won't get you a house anymore. credit cards are very much similar to buying a house, the underwriters examine your records with scrutiny to decide whether or not that paper history will determine future remittance. again, renting a house is nothing similar to buying.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug

but having credit goes a long ways...credit is reasonably easy to build when controlled. there's really no reason not to keep a card, even if just for occasional use.
i might be a young squirt, but i've been through the process..and getting paid rent is definitely better than paying it.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug

I've never had a credit card, going to look in to one this month. Need to start building credit. I figure I will just use it for gas or something. It's always nice to have "just in case" too. The trick is to only charge what you can afford, if only everyone else knew that.Comment

ture , but idk me knowing that im paying extra on top of what i owe is what i hate. its like a gas card, you think your getting a deal but really they r charging you more than what you use..its how they make but and give you brownie pointsYou are a smart one you!

yeah the past year i fell into some money troubles and was forced to use mine more than i wanted to...but it's okay because i'm slowly paying off my house and gaining equity.
you know they don't charge you on a CC if you pay it off at the end of the month, right? you can in theory use it the same as cash/debit.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug

you should have at least started credit. its mandatory in today's economy. i am almost done paying off my car, wasn't a considerably large amount of money, but i've always repaid in a reasonable time, and this one is coming short. you want to have a very well established credit score when purchasing a house, but also for a new car, etc. but of course, you need to put a large down payment as well without a question. 15k down, plus well established credit, and you've got yourself low mortgage payments on a nice 3 bedroom home.
in today's economy, its extremely difficult. you would want to go to a credit union nowadays.
yes, negative monies and its yours. :)
