if i'm ordering a fuel filter, is there anything else i should order maintenance wise while i'm at it?

Have you ever replaced the breather hose from valve cover to throttle body? This is like $7 and people tend to overlook replacing it.

I was thinking $200 for the SoCal folks.

all i have is a cheap-o jack from the GF's car, i dont feel safe using it.
How do you get ball joints out of the strut ?? hammer and wd40?

WD40? LOL no. Loosen nut but leave it on to protect the threads. Then use mini sledge to hammer the strut housing there the ball joint goes through it. A couple good whacks and it should pop free.
