if your raising the motor to put washers, why not just get new motor mounts? get the e36 ones and flip them upside down, and swap in the early model throttle cable as it sits lower. done.

i have a 86 so that means i already have the early throttle body correct?

ill see if my bro still has some e36 motor mounts laying around

What's involved in adding an engine oil cooler to a car that didn't come with one?

Well i take it your adding it to an eta so your going to need an 87 oilcooler. Its the only year that will bolt up to your car with out any modification. I happen to have a complete assembly if you feel like shooting me an offer.
